An initial consultation will focus on assessing your animal’s needs and gaining their trust through gentle manual therapies. Favourite treats, toys and a calm environment can help your animal to feel safe and confident during an initial session.
This will take a little longer than a regular session, giving us plenty of time to talk about your routine, goals and concerns. We will discuss how follow-up sessions could help with maintenance or rehabilitation. In between sessions, exercises or stretches may be recommended to enhance your routine.
Please be aware that veterinary consent is required for all sessions with animals suffering from an existing condition or unresolved injury.
For equine appointments, please be prepared to trot up.
-
Please get in touch as early as possible if you would like to rearrange an appointment.
Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at 50% of the appointment cost and within 24 hours at the full appointment cost. Any travel charges will be waived.

If you would prefer to discuss services or appointments over the phone, please leave your number and note any convenient times to call.

Consent from your animal’s registered vet is not required maintenance-focused intial consultations or appointments.
If your animal has any ongoing conditions, or is undergoing rehabilitation from an injury or surgery, treatment will need to be discussed with your registered vet. You will be asked to provide contact details for this.
If any new symptoms are identified during a maintenance appointment, planned treatment may need to be altered or delayed until veterinary consent is obtained.
-
When registering a new patient, you will be asked to provide contact details for your registered vet.
If veterinary consent is required for the planned session, your vet will be contacted prior to your initial or next appointment.
